The PSEi declined by 1.67%, closing at 5,988.02 (-101.51 pts), breaking below the 6,000 level, which had previously acted as a key support. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The index is now trading below all major moving averages, reflecting a broadly bearish sentiment. Momentum indicators also point to continued weakness, with the MACD nearing a bearish crossover and the RSI moving closer to the oversold zone. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With no signs of a potential rebound, the index may remain under pressure in the near term. A clearer bullish setup, supported by improving momentum indicators, would provide a more favorable risk-reward entry. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
