The PSEi slipped 2.42% w\/w to 6,303.72 (-156.16 pts), breaking its momentum and falling below the 20-day and 50-day moving averages (MA). <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The benchmark index gapped down early in the week amid heavy selling pressure, wiping out all its month-to-date gains. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the PSEi now back at support, value buying could prompt a rebound, while sustained selling pressure may push it back to the 6,100 level. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recommendation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Accumulating select value stocks at current levels is advisable, but waiting for clearer signs of momentum may be prudent to confirm a more sustained recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
