(ACEN) at PHP4.00, keeping our BUY rating, as it continues its renewable energy (RE) expansion with the expected contribution of its 521MW Stubbo Solar by the 2nd half (2H) of 2025 and the battery energy storage system (BESS) of its New England Solar Farm by 2H 2025. Moreover, more plants are expected to come online in 2026 and 2027 with the completion of the 452MW Palauig 2 Solar and the 200MW Phase 3 of San Marcelino Solar, which will boost the overall portfolio. Lastly, despite the continuous consolidation of WESM prices, we forecast moderate growth this year, driven by sustained energy sales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:26px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Analysis and Opinion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>ACEN is expected to list its PHP30 billion stock rights offering (SRO) on September 19. The indicative price is a minimum of PHP2.30 per share, with an offer period that will run from September 3 to 9. The company said that the upcoming SRO will be the last of its kind in the foreseeable future (5 years), while proceeds will be used to pay off debt and fund RE projects to expand capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ACEN, in partnership with UPC Renewables, broke ground on the construction of two major renewable energy projects in India: a 420 megawatt (MW) solar farm in Rajasthan and a 120 MW wind farm in Karnataka.
