(ACEN) to Php5.00, retaining our BUY rating as it continues its renewable energy (RE) expansion with the expected contribution of its 521MW Stubbo Solar by 2H2025 and the battery energy storage system (BESS) of its New England Solar Farm by 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:26px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Analysis and Opinion<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>ACEN reported a 2024 net income of Php9.36 billion, 27% up year-on-year (y\/y) and in line with our estimates. Consolidated revenues inched 2% higher on the back of its renewable expansion capacity by 25%. Cost and expenses dropped by 12%, mainly driven by lower third-party volumes purchased and lower-cost renewable energy. Core attributable EBITDA was 25% higher at Php19.3bn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More plants are also scheduled to come online in 2026 and 2027 with the expected completion of 452MW Palauig 2 Solar and the 200MW Phase 3 of San Marcelino Solar.
