MacroAsia Corp. (MAC), through its 60 percent-owned subsidiary Summa Water Resources Inc. (SWRI), is ramping up expansion water services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The company, a leader in airline and aircraft services, led the groundbreaking ceremony for Lapu-Lapu City\u2019s seawater desalination project on Sept. 18, 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project, spearheaded by SWRI\u2019s subsidiary CSWater Lapu-Lapu Inc. (CSWLL), aims to meet the city\u2019s rising water demands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It includes the construction of a 15-million-liter-per-day desalination plant in Punta Enga\u00f1o and a 500-cubic-meter-per-day facility on Olango Island.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initiative officially kicked off in May 2024, following approval from Mayor Junard \u201cAhong\u201d Chan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
