(Meralco) amid confidence in the company\u2019s financial status coupled with the growth of its energy generation business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In a report released on Tuesday, the credit watcher raised Meralco\u2019s rating to \u2018BBB\u2019 from the minimum investment grade of \u201cBBB-\u201d.
