The PSEi rose by +1.67% w\/w to close at 6,961.96 pts. The benchmark index extended its winning streak to three straight weeks, retesting the 7,000 level for the first time since the April peak. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The market is currently hovering above key moving averages (200-day, 100-day, and 50-day) with the MACD and RSI nearing overbought levels. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the bulls continue to dominate, the market may break above the 7,000 level and test the 7,100 resistance area. Conversely, if the bears gain ground, the PSEi may pull back to its immediate support levels around 6,800 and 6,700.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
