Owned by Mynt (Globe Fintech Innovations Inc.) and operated by G-Xchange, GCash is the leading finance app in the Philippines with a portfolio of financial services ranging<br>from cash transfer to instant loans. In reaction to the news, GLO was the top index gainer yesterday (+4.64%), closing at Php 1,790\/share.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Our View:<\/strong> The second half may be the best time for an IPO as the US Federal Reserve is widely expected cut rates by that time. The BSP is also expected to cut benchmark interest rates by June to match the US Federal Reserve\u2019s easing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As this happens, the second half of the year could be a great window to launch an IPO. In addition to GCash\u2019s potential IPO, PSE President Ramon S. Monzon mentioned that the PSE is expecting a few other IPOS for 2024, including the REIT listing of SPMH and Ricky Razon\u2019s Prime Infrastructure Capital, Inc.
