The index went below the 7,000 levels by the end of the week, plummeting by -1.78% or -124.45pts to 6,876.79. It has been quite volatile for the index during mid-week as market players displayed fear, where they sold aggressively at the 7,000 threshold. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the latter part of the trading session, the PSEI closed below 7k and market players were not able to push the index above that benchmark last Friday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

From the looks of it, this week will be a deciding factor if prices could go back to above 7,000 levels. Should the stocks rally in the following trading days, this could be a good time to sell on rallies to seal profits and observe how the market would react.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
