{"id":321439,"date":"2023-02-08T20:52:53","date_gmt":"2023-02-08T12:52:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.pinoyinvestor.com\/smartinvestor\/?p=321439"},"modified":"2023-02-16T11:52:00","modified_gmt":"2023-02-16T03:52:00","slug":"special-report-regional-comprehensive-economic-partnership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.pinoyinvestor.com\/smartinvestor\/special-report-regional-comprehensive-economic-partnership\/","title":{"rendered":"Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) to benefit these 2 stocks"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>According to Senate President Juan Miguel Zubiri, the Senate is prioritizing the completion of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) ratification by the 1st quarter of 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:26px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Analysis and Recommendation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>We reiterate that successful membership of the Philippines in this free trade agreement would be beneficial for two stocks, namely, <strong>D&amp;L Industries<\/strong> (DNL, Target Price: P11.30) and <strong>International Container Terminal Services Inc.<\/strong> (ICT, Target Price: P257.00), and given the ample upside of both names at 34.4% and 17.9% respectively, we recommend a BUY on the two companies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Improved ease of trade, coupled with China\u2019s gradual reopening (accounts for 30% of export sales) would allow DNL to boost its topline and GPM through exports of its higher margin products. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Likewise, as the operator of the Manila International Container Terminal, a boost in trade volumes would also enable ICT to generate higher topline growth and better operating leverage. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:26px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:16px\"><em><em>This report is prepared by PinoyInvestor\u2019s partner broker below.
