The local bourse managed to stay above the 7,000 levels by the end of the week, crawling up by +0.59% or +41.19pts settling at 7.027.38. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It has been quite volatile for the index during mid-week as market participants display indecision, where they have been apparently reactive at the 7,000 threshold. In the latter part of the trading session, the PSEI seemed to close below 7k but market players were able to push the index above that benchmark at closing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Basing on the charts, demand appears to be strong still. Despite the aggressive profit takers, the market rebounded quickly, and the likelihood of the upward trend to continue is pretty high for the subsequent week. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Should the stocks rally in the following trading days, this could be a good time to sell on rallies to seal profits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
