You probably don’t know it, but PinoyInvestor has around 90+ PSE stocks in its coverage. That means if you need information on these 90+ stocks to help you invest and trade wisely, then PinoyInvestor is definitely your go-to place!

We’ve grouped these stocks into four (4) categories, representing various types of stock investors.

These four (4) stock categories are:

1. PSEi Stocks

Stock Rankings: PSEi Stocks

If you’re looking for stocks that are relatively stable and with a good historical track record, better choose PSEi stocks. These stocks are typically for investors with an investment objective of long-term capital appreciation.

2. Large-Cap Stocks

Stock Rankings: Large-Cap Stocks

Large-Cap stocks are stocks with market capitalization of at least PHP 100 billion. Large-Cap stocks tend to be more stable than any other categories of stocks. Many of them also pay dividends, providing additional income to shareholders. Large-caps are typically suited for investors looking for current income and capital preservation.

3. Mid-Cap Stocks

Stock Rankings: Mid-Cap Stocks

Mid-Cap stocks are stocks with market capitalization between PHP 40 billion and PHP 100 billion. Mid-Cap stocks are right in between Large-Cap and Small-Cap stocks and tend to be riskier than large-caps but less volatile than small-cap stocks.

4. Small-Cap Stocks

Stock Rankings: Small-Cap Stocks

Small-Cap stocks are stocks with market capitalization of less than PHP 40 billion. Small-Cap stocks are usually composed of companies with a small number of shares outstanding or young companies with a high potential for growth. If you’re willing to take in more risk in exchange for a possible huge price appreciation, Small-Cap stocks may be for you.

Finally, Large-Cap stocks also beat the PSEi, booking a +12.21% gain in the 6-month period, still higher than the gain of the PSEi.
